VisionHM and administration

In its simplest form, VisionHM receives all the information required for the administrative creation of a Patient Admission from the Hospital Information System through HL7 standard transactions.

Based on the Workflow resulting from the realization of an Examination, VisionHM is able to propose the ambulatory quotations and consumables according to the way the Examination was completed.

Integration in an IT environment

In return and on the basis of the data received from the HIS, VisionHM will be able to send to the Patient Record the documents established during the Workflow created by the realization of an Exam, as far as this sending is required, but also the ambulatory billing information.

Availability of resources

VisionHM considers as a resource the medical staff, the devices, the medication, the beds, in short any resource necessary to perform an Exam.
For the medical staff VisionHM has a presence editor with tools such as the typical week, the allocation of doctors to areas, according to a temporary specialization allowing a doctor to work in consultation on some days and as a surgeon on others.

The declaration of availability of these resources automatically affects not only the planning of the Examinations but also their execution in the event of a declaration of unforeseen absence, equipment failure or room unavailability.
In these stressful situations VisionHM has a family of communication tools that inform patients of the cancellation of their appointment or their postponement to other dates.

Outpatient pricing and consumables

Due to its complexity and the time required to correctly compile this information, outpatient pricing is the pet peeve of healthcare workers, the administration's nightmare and the source of significant loss of income for the hospital.

Based on the Workflow resulting from the realization of an Examination, VisionHM is able to propose the ambulatory quotations and consumables according to the way the Examination was completed.

Once this information has been validated by the nursing staff, mainly at the time of the Examination, it is sent to the Hospital Information System to enter the billing circuit.
